Evangelists communicate the message of salvation to the world; prepare God’s people for works of service; partner with an apostle and/or prophet to start new churches or ministries; partner with the pastor and teacher to add to a church or ministry; develop other evangelists; find multiple methods or ways to present the Gospel; draw individuals; pull Christians together to penetrate the community with the Gospel; connect individuals to present the Gospel; penetrate the community with the hope of Christ; prepare the way for God’s people; rally the troops; recruit help to proclaim the Gospel; and build on the foundation laid by the apostles and prophets.
